ورق لاستیکی سیلیکون به دلیل مقاومت حرارتی ، خاصیت انعطاف پذیری مناسب و نداشتن هیچگونه عوارضی برای سلامتی انسان جهت استفاده در محیط های حرارتی و محیط هایی که با مواد غذایی یا دارویی تماس دارند مناسب می باشد. ورق سیلیکون عموما به صورت رول ( از ضخامتهای ۰/۵تا ۲۰ میلیمتر) و در دو نوع ساده و مسلح شده با پارچه فایبرگلاس عرضه می گردد.

ورق لاستیکی ضد سایش نوعی ورق است که در حالت نورد نورد تولید می شود. نورد (Rolling) یکی از روش‌های شکل‌دهی مواد دارای قابلیت موم‌سانی است. در دماهای پایین و نزدیک دمای اتاق تنها فلزات و برخی از پلیمرها قابلیت مومسانی مناسب از خود نشان می‌دهند. ورق ضد سایش برای مدت زمان بسیار طولانی قابلیت و کیفیت خود را حفط می کند. در واقع این نوع ورق  به طور خاص برای عمر طولانی و شرایط سخت طراحی شده است. به دلیل این ویژگی در زمینه های معدن، معدن سنگ، نوار نقاله ، حمل مواد و ساخ و ساز به کار می رود. ورق های ضد سایش در ضخامت های بین 1.5 تا 20 میلی متر به صورت شیت قابل عرضه می باشد.

میزان چسبندگی و مقاومت پارگی و استحکام ضعیفی دارد. دارای پایین ترین دمای شیشه ای شدن است و به راحتی تا دمای _60 درجه سانتی گراد عملکرد مطلوبی از خود نشان می دهد. به همین منظور برای به دست آوردن خواص مطلوب از آن به صورت الیاژ با دیگر لاستیک ها استفاده می شود. ترکیب BR-SBR به عنوان ورق لاستیکی ضد سایش استفاده می گردد.
