ضربه گیر و لرزه گیر یک عنصر ارتجاعی و انعطاف پذیر می باشد. این عنصر با تغییر شکل خود ارتعاش و سرو صدا را کاهش و تا حدودی از بین می برد. این عنصر از ترکیب لاستیک و ورق فولادی تشکیل شده است. یکی از عمده ترین مزایای این عنصر افزایش عمر مفید دستگاه و سایر قطعات می باشد. لرزه گیر لاستیکی انرژی را جذب و بارها سازی انرژی به شکل های مختلف ارتعاشات را مهار می کند. به دلیل این ویژگی های ضربه گیری اغلب لرزه گیر یا ضربه گیر لاستیکی برای مهار ارتعاشات و لرزشهای ناشی ماشین آلات و دستگاههای الکترونیکی به  کار می روند. وظیفه دیگر لرزه گیرها حذف حرکات ناشی از تغییرات ابعادی خطوط می باشد. ضربه گیرها بر اساس نوع استفاده و کاربرشان از جنس های مختلفی تولید می شوند. ضربه گیرهای نئوپرن در نوع ساده و مسلح تولید می شنوند.
